If you are shying away from a river property, due to not being on a lake, please understand that in

which gives you the ability to enjoy them both from your cottage. This cottage is located mere minutes
from the village of Minden where there are large food stores, quaint shops, sporting facilities, great restaurants, service stations, banking and medical facilities for both you and your pet. In addition, this cottage is located relatively close to Hwy 35 which is the main north / south route through cottage country and making it only about an hour from Algonquin Park, the largest provincial park in Canada.
If golf is your game, there are good golf courses in both Minden and Haliburton. If you are planning to
bring your own boat, you will be able to enjoy several of the over 600 lakes in Haliburton County. For
