Situated just 20 minutes from Haliburton Village, Miskwabi Lake is one of those smaller lakes which is as pretty as a lake can be and one of the better kept secrets of cottage rental in Central Ontario. I have fished Miskwabi many times and always caught large and smallmouth bass and lake trout. The lake has been stocked since 2000. Although water depth can reach 145 feet, the average depth is about 60 feet. Miskwabi is part of a 2 lake chain with Long Lake so there is plenty of water to explore. If golf is your passion, there are several fine tracks to test your skill including PineStone Resort and Blairhampton. Hiking and biking trails are numerous in the area. If you are in need of supplies, Haliburton Village is only 20 minutes away where there are large food stores, pharmacies, restaurants, quaint shops, hardware, service stations, a Timmies for that coffee fix and much more. Health Care can be found at the local hospital and there is even a Veterinarian for your furry pal. If you need additional information on this area, we suggest you visit the following links...
