A rustic treasure on Paudash Lake!

Situated on Paudash Lake, this cottage is part of an extensive cottage community which surrounds the Lake. Paudash is a very pretty lake with a very irregular shoreline making for many bays to explore. In addition there is a marina on the lake if you wish to rent a more substantial boat for your vacation. This cottage is built into the side of a small hill and there are stone stairs which lead to the shore but on the way to the shore you will arrive at a patio area with a large picnic table, a fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts and there is also a children's swing for their enjoyment. At the shoreline, there are actually 2 docks and a shore deck for your lounging enjoyment. The shoreline is predominantly a rocky shoreline with a gradual entry into a sandy / soft bottom. Off one dock the water is only a foot deep with a sandy bottom which is good for the younger children while at the end of the main dock there is 5 1/2 to 6 feet of water with a soft bottom. Paudash Lake is about half way between Haliburton Village and Bancroft and near the little village of Cardiff where there is a gas station and a general store. If you are looking for more substantial shopping Haliburton Village is less than an hour away.
