This is yet another beauty in The Kawartha region of Cottage Country on beautiful
Buckhorn Lake which is within 10 minutes of the Village of Buckhorn. If you are looking
for more substantial shopping, Peterborough is only a 20 minute drive. Peterborough has
every shop and store imaginable as well as health care. This cottage property is well treed
and on a slight incline to the lake. There is a deck with table, chairs and a quality propane
barbecue for the family Chef. At the shoreline there is an extensive dock and wood
boardwalk with chairs for your lounging pleasure. In addition there is a fire pit for those
evening marshmallow roasts. The cottage comes with a row boat and paddle boat for your
on water pleasure. There is much to see and do in this area. If golf is your exercise, there
are several fine courses in The Kawarthas. If fishing is your passion, Buckhorn and the
Kawartha area is famous for the abundance and variety of fish species. Pick up your tackle,
your rod and come on over to Buckhorn Lake. This is the place to catch that big one.
Muskie, Small and Largemouth Bass, Pickerel, Perch, Crappie, Sunfish, and the Common
Carp. In addition, there is a marina nearby for all your boating needs. If you wish more
