Horseshoe Lake has great rainbow trout, whitefish, and smallmouth bass fishing, and if day tripping is your thing, you are only 5 minutes away from the Minden Whitewater reserve. Being this close to Minden, means you'll also be close to Haliburton Village, Dorset, Norland, and even Algonquin Park. Essentially central to everything the region has to offer! The cottage has a generous yard for basketball and badminton and a large swim-off dock. There's a full size propane BBQ on a roomy deck with plenty of seating, and there's even a firepit for dusk cookouts, or marshamllows and ghost stories after a long day of adventure.
