WRD has had a long and successful relationship with many cottages on various lakes in Harcourt Park and this
listing will keep that tradition alive and well. This cottage is near the end of Straggle Lake Drive for those who are
familiar with the area. There is a marina on Straggle Lake and please note that you are not permitted to bring a
boat into the park from outside the park and no live bait can be brought into the Park from outside as well. This
marina is not far from the cottage where limited supplies can be obtained and if you are looking for more
substantial shopping, the town of Bancroft is about 25 km away from Harcourt. The cottage property is almost flat
and very well equipped with a deck, furniture and a propane barbecue for Chef Straggle. In addition there is a real
nice inlaid stone fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts with additional furniture on the lake side of the
cottage. The pictures below show a brown colored area from the fire pit to the lake which is a fine mulch which is
great for kids when they fall because it is very soft. The cottage comes with 2 kayaks and a paddle boat for your
on water pleasure and don't forget your fishing gear because this is bass country. A great day trip would be a visit
to Algonquin Park which is 45 minutes from the cottage. If you are looking for additional information on this
